About Christ Lutheran
Christ Lutheran is a Scriptural Church with a message centered in Christ and Him crucified. We believe that man is saved only by faith (trust) in the merits of Christ on the cross and that salvation is offered to sinful man by the grace (underserved love) of a loving God. If you wish more information about what our church teaches, please contact the Pastors who are anxious to share the Good News of Christ with YOU!
Our congregation is committed to Christian education and growth, as evidenced by our many opportunities for Bible Study for all ages, our assistance in the payment of tuition for children of our congregation who attend Trinity Lutheran School in Bloomington, and especially the opening of our Shining Lights Preschool in January of 1998.
Our parish seeks to serve the community through Christian service and witness. We try to be a family sharing Christ!
Our Mission
Christ Lutheran Church is a Scriptural Church with a message centered in Christ and Him crucified. We believe that man is saved only by faith in the merits of Christ on the cross and that salvation is offered to sinful man by faith of a loving God.
Our mission is clearly defined for us by our Lord in Matthew 28:19,20 where we are told to “make disciples of all nations” by:
- REACHING out to those without Christ
- PREACHING the Word and administering the sacraments
- TEACHING all things Jesus has commanded in His Word
